
Domestic Sales Representative - Central Region

Description
This is a remote position, requiring the candidate live within the central U.S. sales territory.
Job Purpose The Sales Representative function exists to seek, grow, and maintain the customer base for IMMY’s product offerings. This position carries out responsibilities pertinent to qualifying customer leads from tradeshows, site visits, cold calls, and online inquiries, educate them about IMMY’s products, and move them through the sales pipeline to ultimately create a lifelong customer. The Sales Representatives work closely with the technical specialist, the customer service specialist, the marketing team, and reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing.
Key Duties And Responsibilities Essential duties of an IMMY sales representative include:
Closing accounts, congruent with defined monthly, quarterly and/or annual goals that ensure mutually beneficial satisfaction for the customer and for IMMY
Calling prospective customers to drive leads through the sales pipeline
Responding in a timely manner to requests for information, orders and other requests from customers about any of IMMY’s product offerings or related items
Having a working, technical knowledge of the diseases IMMY tests for and the tests themselves, so as to engage in technical discussions with potential clients
Remaining knowledgeable and up‑to‑date with changes and developments in the medical diagnostic industry, as well as with fungal diseases and our customer base around the world
Recommending changes of products, services, and policy by evaluating the results from our products and based on customer feedback
Accurate recordkeeping of the sales opportunity progress in HubSpot, ERP and/or other database
Traveling to tradeshows and site visits showcasing IMMY’s product offering among fellow vendors and labs, representing the company at a variety of sales and marketing events
Maintaining relationships with lab managers and lead technicians to create raving fans of IMMY’s tests
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Business (Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Finance) or Life Science (Biology, Botany and Chemistry) degree preferred.
Comfortable making cold calls
Understanding of HubSpot, ERP platforms or other CRM software
Exceptional relational and communication skills
Punctuality and professionalism
Medical sales background or understanding of the industry preferred
