The Food and Beverage Host is the first point of contact for our guests and is responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. The Host provides a fantastic first impression, ensures efficient seating of guests, and supports the overall guest experience by delivering exceptional service. This role also assists with answering phones, taking carry-out orders, and supporting the food and beverage team as needed. The Host must have a strong understanding of operational standards, policies, and procedures, and be able to effectively demonstrate them. Compliance with all Southern Nevada Health Department guidelines and codes is required to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and team members alike.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Supports team members in various tasks when needed. Performs any and all other responsibilities within the scope of the job description.**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1 year of hosting experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to 100% guest satisfaction. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid food handler’s certification card.Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing. **REASONING ABILITY**

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to address guest concerns and resolve problems in standardized situations. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level is moderate to high, and the role requires frequent interaction with both guests and team members. Integrity and discretion are expected while handling sensitive information.Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
