Responsibilities
Strategic Event Planning:
Create comprehensive pre, during, and post‑event expectations for marketing and sales that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Define event goals, target audiences, and KPIs:
Work closely with leadership to set measurable objectives.
End‑to‑End Event Management:
Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including budgeting, venue selection, logistics, catering, audio‑visual requirements, and post‑event evaluations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—marketing, sales, design, and production—to align events with broader business objectives.
Vendor Management:
Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners; evaluate and select vendors based on meeting event requirements; hold vendors to agreed standards and determine alternate solutions when necessary.
Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of event professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful event execution; foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
Crisis Management:
Develop contingency plans for events and address unforeseen challenges or emergencies to mitigate risks.
Budget Management:
Develop, manage, and monitor event budgets to ensure cost‑effectiveness; provide regular financial reports and updates to leadership.
Post‑Event Analysis:
Conduct post‑event evaluations, analyze feedback, and derive insights for continuous improvement; work with Marketing Ops to prepare comprehensive reports on event performance, including ROI analysis.
Qualifications
Experience working across enterprise teams—Marketing, Sales, Product, and Engineering.
Experience planning, managing, and supporting events.
Vendor management experience.
Experience managing, monitoring, and developing a budget.
Strong experience presenting to C‑Level executives.
This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Salary Range
California: $120,000 - $140,000
Washington: $120,000 - $140,000
Salary varies based on job‑related skills, experience and location.
