As Tool Crib Lead, you'll be the go-to expert for everything tool-relatedensuring the right tools are in the right hands at the right time. From managing inventory and specialty tooling to mentoring team members and driving efficiency, you'll play a critical role in supporting both shop and field operations. What You'll Do Own the Tool Crib: Receive, store, issue, and track tools, and project equipment with precision. Support Machining Excellence: Select and prepare tools for shop and field jobs, anticipating needs based on blueprints and job specs. Be the Expert: Advise on specialty tools, proper usage, and handling procedures. Lead & Mentor: Train team members on tool procedures, safety, and best practices. Drive Efficiency: Streamline inventory processes, reduce costs, and improve tool availability. Hands-On Work: Load/unload trucks, manage shipping/receiving, and keep the workspace organized and safe. What You Bring Experience: 35 years in a related role, with machining experience strongly preferred. Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, interpret mechanical drawings, and measure precision components. Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with carbide drills, end mills, inserted cutters, boring tooling, and more. Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
