Entomologist Consultant (Required by RFP) Location: Mercer County, NJ. Hourly Rate: $45–$60/hr. Employment Type: Consultant / Part-time.
Priority Group Services LLC is seeking a qualified Entomologist Consultant to support the County of Mercer Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program. The consultant will provide expert guidance, review pest control plans, and advise on pest thresholds, structural corrections, and treatment recommendations.
Responsibilities
Provide expert consultation on IPM strategies and pest behavior
Review and validate pest management plans
Recommend threshold levels and corrective actions
Document recommendations following any “less-than-satisfactory” inspections
Support compliance with NJDEP, EPA, and Mercer County regulations
Provide entomological reports and program oversight
Education & Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Entomology (Required)
Minimum 1 year of IPM experience (RFP requirement)
Strong knowledge of EPA-approved pesticides and NJDEP regulations
Compensation: $60.00 per hour
