We are hiring a Regional Account Manager responsible for Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, DC, Virginia, & West Virginia.
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is a front-line sales role, reporting into the Regional Sales Manager. The RAM is responsible for delivering budgeted sales within their sales territory through strong account management, existing customer support and new business acquisition.
Working remotely the RAM will oversee all customer interactions within their territory, working closely with the internal sales and the customer service team to deliver the highest level of customer service.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
In person sales fuctions with all key accounts within the simulation market that will include but are not limited to; nursing schools, medical schools, hospital-based patient safety officers, clinical education, medical directors, etc.
Execute national sales plan within their designated region
Ensure all sales budgets are hit
Ensure all core metrics are delivered in alignment with RSM – call rates, journey planning, average quotation value, pipeline efficiency
Expectation to be customer facing minimum 3 days a week
Work closely with internal sales team to coordinate sales campaign execution, exhibition lead follow ups, and overall calendar plan
Proactively maintain a healthy pipeline and correctly reporting sales forecasts
Plan and implement a 6-week travel plan based on account classification and customer heat mapping
Attend all relevant trade shows and exhibitions while ensuring all leads and follow ups and conducted in a timely manner
GENERAL
To work in a positive and engaging manner with all members of the Limbs & Things team including; internal logistics, customer service, internal sales and management
Ensure expenses and cost lines are in line with budgets and sales activity
Responsible for ensuring an up-to-date knowledge of all L&T products, the medical simulation market, and competitor landscape
Being accountable for reporting on weekly / monthly data
Maintaining the US databases and CRM system
Domestic travel as required to exhibitions, conferences and sales calls
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification
Have a basic knowledge of core sales principles and methodology
Ability to interpret sales data and write business plans
Strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills - verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong initiative and resourceful
Ability to work independently and as part of the wider team
Knowledge of relevant computer applications such as Word, Excel and Online databases
RAM will be required to live within their geographical territory - ideally in the Philadelphia or northern Virginia areas.
Have a valid driving licence and have a vehicle suitable for work use
Be within commutable distance of (45) miles of a major airport
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Life science or business degree
Medical experience or knowledge of general medical terminology
