As a Float Phlebotomist , you will quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will work with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. This role allows you to develop your skills and set you up for growth and continuous opportunities within the organization. If you like variety, this role is perfect for you.
Work Schedule Monday – Friday. Scheduled hours vary between 6:00 am–6:00 pm and rotating Saturdays.
Float Incentive Additional $2.00 /hr plus mileage reimbursement. PSTs may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Work Location South Charleston, WV

Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Enter patient data accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, or previous phlebotomy experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Minimum age 21 years.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or within a team.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
Senior level and Employment Type Seniority level: Entry level
