$2,264.31 – $2,943.23 MONTHLY

$4,906.00 – $6,377.00 Responsibilities

Policy Research and Analysis: serve as the policy coordinator for ONA, develop policy strategy, monitor state legislation, prepare budget impact statements, respond to requests from the General Assembly, advise leadership on policy changes, support hearings and presentations, and lead ONA policy research efforts. Policy Communications: lead for policy communications, including summaries of policy changes and dissemination of legislation. Internal and External Stakeholder Engagement: support statewide stakeholder engagement with a focus on policy, act as a point of contact for New American communities, nonprofits, municipalities, and state agencies, and translate community needs into policy priorities. Qualifications

Six (6) years of relevant experience in immigration policy research, communications, development, stakeholder engagement, education/outreach, and related work. OR Education and Experience:

A combination equaling six (6) years in related education and/or experience with similar duties and scope. AND Relevant Educational Fields:

Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Public Administration, Migration/Refugee Studies, Immigration Law, Master of Social Work, JD. Preferred Qualifications:

demonstrated immigration policy analysis, strong communications skills, established relationships with key constituencies, strategic partnership development, and relevant state-level experience.
