UTA seeks an experienced and strategic Business Affairs Executive for our UTA Creators division. The position will review and negotiate deals and terms for top digital talent (e.g., social media-oriented personalities, creators, and publishers) and major global brands. This role combines sharp legal acumen with strong business judgment. The ideal candidate will navigate complex deal‑making, protect intellectual property, and foster sustainable growth in a fast‑changing digital landscape.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $175,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do

Negotiate, and manage high‑volume talent, brand partnership, and content licensing agreements for major global brands and top digital talent

Prepare and facilitate representation agreements and related documents

Advise executive management team on business and legal matters, including contract interpretation, intellectual property rights, compliance, and risk mitigation

Collaborate with UTA’s Business Affairs team, internal departments, and external counsel to resolve complex deal points while balancing legal protections with creative and commercial priorities

Streamline brand agreement templates and standardize negotiation processes, improving team efficiency, deal turnaround, and quarterly deal volume

Implement contract systems and operational workflows to enhance visibility, accountability, and cross‑department collaboration

Maintain strong relationships with brand partners, platforms, and production companies to optimize deal opportunities and support revenue growth

Stay current on emerging digital, entertainment, and media regulations impacting the creator economy.

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College

J.D. from an accredited law school with admission to the California Bar

3+ years of relevant business and/or legal affairs experience working within digital media, entertainment, or talent management sectors.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to develop highly effective and productive working relationships externally and internally throughout UTA

Impeccable ethics, judgment and adherence to confidentiality obligations

Ability to anticipate needs and execute time‑sensitive matters in a fast‑paced environment

Must be able to thrive in team‑oriented and autonomous working environments

Proficient in Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Strategic thinker with practical business sensibilities and creative problem‑solving abilities.
