This is a full-time, IT Manager opportunity with a well-established healthcare organization located in Charlotte, NC (hybrid). This role is highly hands‑on and responsible for owning and supporting all core infrastructure across the organization. The environment includes Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization, backups, security, and end‑user systems, supporting both clinical and corporate operations in a regulated healthcare setting.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role
Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
Solid networking knowledge (switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, Wi‑Fi)
Virtualization experience (VMware and/or Hyper‑V)
Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment (HIPAA preferred)
Ability to manage vendors, MSPs, and third‑party providers
Desired Skills & Experience
Healthcare IT experience (EHR/EMR exposure a plus)
Experience with Entra ID / Azure AD and hybrid environments
Security tooling experience (EDR, MFA, patching, vulnerability management)
Project management experience for infrastructure upgrades or migrations
Prior experience growing or mentoring an IT team
