Position Overview We are seeking a talented and dynamic
Senior Account Executive
to grow and manage a wholesale business across all tiers of distribution. The ideal candidate will nurture existing customer relationships while developing new key accounts to build profitable, efficient programs that drive volume and deliver healthy margins for both the company and its retail partners.
This role requires a seasoned wholesale professional with strong industry knowledge, a proven sales track record, and the ability to manage accounts from strategy through execution.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and develop strong, strategic customer relationships to build long-term, successful businesses
Develop new key customer relationships to expand distribution and drive growth
Maintain a current understanding of the competitive retail landscape, category trends, and strategic retail price points across all channels
Prepare for customer meetings with clear agendas, including category assortments by delivery, suggested target retail price points, and performance insights
Monitor weekly selling performance to maximize in-season reorder opportunities
Maintain ownership and clear understanding of on-hand inventory and incoming work-in-progress (WIP)
Manage and maintain an accurate customer order book, ensuring timely and correct order entry
Communicate delivery updates and changes clearly and promptly to customers
Liaise with design, sourcing, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Ensure showroom readiness ahead of customer meetings and key market weeks
Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to provide critical retail feedback and sales trend insights
Lead seasonal best‑seller and worst‑seller reviews
Travel to customer accounts as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of wholesale sales experience in Denim and/or Sportswear
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to act with urgency and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment
Strong initiative with a sense of ownership over accounts and projects
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
Positive, professional, and upbeat demeanor
Proficiency in Excel and strong retail math skills
