This position supports two closely related, high-impact areas of the organization: Authority Brands Payments and BUYMAX. Authority Brands Payments

manages the organization’s payment processing and consumer financing ecosystem, including credit card processing, alternative payment methods, and consumer financing solutions offered across the franchise network. This team partners with multiple lenders, processors, and technology platforms to deliver scalable, compliant, and cost-effective payment solutions. BUYMAX

is Authority Brands’ group purchasing organization (GPO), providing franchise owners with access to preferred vendor programs, negotiated pricing, and strategic supplier partnerships across equipment, services, and operational needs. The Communications & Digital Marketing Manager plays a shared role across both functions, responsible for developing clear, consistent, and effective communications and marketing strategies that support product launches, program adoption, training, and ongoing engagement. This role ensures complex offerings are translated into messaging that is actionable, accurate, and aligned across brands, teams, and partners. This is not a general brand marketing role. It requires strong business judgment, comfort with technical and regulated subject matter, and the ability to operate cross-functionally without losing clarity or momentum. Role Overview

This role sits at the intersection of communications and marketing. The primary responsibility is to develop and execute clear, compelling, and compliant communications for Authority Brands Payments Solutions and BUYMAX, with a strong emphasis on driving understanding, adoption, and sustained usage. The role requires the ability to translate

complex financial, payment processing, and purchasing concepts

into messaging that resonates with franchise owners, operators, technicians, and internal stakeholders—and then deliver that messaging through the right mix of channels. Responsibilities

Communications

Own all outbound communications related to: Credit card processing programs Consumer financing solutions Product announcements and enhancements Program updates, policy changes, and operational guidance Develop messaging tailored to multiple audiences, including: Franchise owners and operators Field technicians and sales teams Internal stakeholders and executive leadership External Stakeholders Translate complex and technical subject matter into clear, accurate, and actionable communications Draft and manage: Email campaigns and announcements Product launch communications Training introductions and enablement materials FAQs, one-pagers, and internal talking points Partner closely with Payments, BUYMAX, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Training teams to ensure: Accuracy and compliance Consistent positioning across brands and platforms Clear version control and message discipline Marketing Responsibilities – Integrated Marketing & Adoption Strategy

Own and execute an integrated marketing strategy to support awareness, understanding, adoption, and ongoing usage of Authority Brands Payments Solutions and BUYMAX programs. Lead product marketing efforts, including: Positioning and messaging for payment processing, consumer financing, and purchasing programs Product and feature launches, enhancements, and rate card updates Clear articulation of value propositions by audience (owners, operators, technicians, internal teams) Develop and manage lifecycle and adoption marketing, aligning communications to the full franchise owner journey—from awareness and enrollment through activation, usage, and optimization. Support sales enablement and field adoption by creating practical materials that help teams confidently explain, position, and sell payments, financing, and purchasing programs. Partner with Training and Enablement teams to market and promote training programs, webinars, and educational initiatives in a way that drives participation and engagement. Execute digital and channel marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media, and other owned channels, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment. Coordinate partner and co-marketing efforts with lenders, processors, and vendor partners to ensure aligned, accurate, and cohesive messaging. Support internal marketing and change communications, ensuring internal teams are informed, aligned, and equipped as programs evolve. Track, measure, and report on engagement and effectiveness, using insights to refine messaging and improve adoption outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with: Payments & Consumer Financing leadership BUYMAX leadership and vendor partners Marketing and Brand teams Training and Enablement teams Legal, Finance, and Operations Support executive communications and leadership updates as needed Serve as a central point of accountability for payments- and purchasing-related messaging Required Background & Experience

5–8+ years of experience in communications, marketing, product marketing, or related roles Experience in financial services, payments, fintech, franchising, or other regulated industries strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear business messaging Strong background in digital marketing, including email campaigns, social channels, and performance tracking Experience supporting multi-brand or franchise-based organizations is a plus Proven ability to work cross-functionally with senior leaders, legal, and operational teams Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong judgment around tone, timing, and audience Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment Able to push back constructively when messaging is unclear, inaccurate, or premature Self-directed, proactive, and accountable We believe our greatest assets are our employees, we offer competitive salaries and a full benefits package to include, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) and more.
