Diesel Service Mechanic – Heavy & Medium-Duty Trucks

Are you an experienced, hands‑on diesel technician who thrives on diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues? Join our growing team in Mardela Springs, MD, where you’ll apply your skills to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy‑ and medium‑duty commercial trucks. We’re looking for dependable technicians who demonstrate a strong work ethic, quick learning ability, and sharp attention to detail. Previous experience working with Kenworth vehicles is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule
$27–$37/hour
(based on experience)
Production bonuses
available
Sign‑on bonus up to $5,000
(for qualified candidates)
Full‑time, first shift
— Monday–Friday

Responsibilities
Service, diagnose, and repair diesel vehicles as directed by the Service Manager
Troubleshoot malfunctions and provide effective repair solutions
Create accurate repair estimates ( CDK experience a plus )
Maintain precise documentation of all repairs performed and parts used
Communicate with OEM/factory tech support as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Prior experience diagnosing and repairing
diesel vehicles
High school diploma or GED
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
