Job Description The Retail Banker II Float is a customer liaison integral to delivering TD’s brand promise by using financial expertise and consultative advice to help customers achieve their financial goals. This role works in multiple locations, requiring adaptability and customer focus.
Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert for all products, services, policies, and procedures of TD.
Maintain broad knowledge of the full product suite and provide moderate‑complexity/risk solutions.
Make product recommendations based on customer needs, highlighting benefits that save time and money.
Use Customer Relationship Management tools to assess customer needs and lead outbound sales activities.
Evaluate issues and errors based on existing procedures and provide clear explanations within the team.
Build and maintain working relationships with customers and related teams.
Perform customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities to deliver on the human promise.
Engage in conversations about loan products and facilitate application intake.
Maintain active NMLS registration.
Customer Accountabilities
Deliver legendary experience by building relationships and providing service and advice.
Support bank’s customer service strategy with end‑to‑end advice and consultative support.
Act as a customer advocate for resolution, proactive tips, and insights.
Provide sound advice that yields solutions and enhances financial confidence.
Use CRM tools to gather insights for a deeper customer journey.
Drive lobby leadership, welcoming, and guiding customers.
Educate customers on self‑service options and digital channels.
Escalate complex questions and perform teller transactions as needed.
Shareholder Accountabilities
Promote full suite of products, services, and banking capabilities.
Apply operating policies and procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
Escalate high‑risk or non‑standard transactions as required.
Ensure due diligence for all customer transactions.
Adhere to the Bank Code of Conduct and risk/control policies.
Employee/Team Accountabilities
Support a positive work environment, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
Share knowledge and participate in knowledge transfer within the team.
Manage personal performance and development activities.
Align with TD’s Model, Brand, and Culture to be a brand ambassador.

Qualifications
HS diploma or GED required; 2‑year degree preferred.
2+ years of related experience; teller experience preferred.
Cross‑trained to take customer transactions.
Travel to multiple work locations within the region as needed.
Superior customer service, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Notary license preferred.
Physical Requirements
Continuous sedentary work, multi‑tasking, operating standard office equipment, responding to sounds, sitting, and concentrating for long periods.
Occasional walking, standing, and reaching overhead or forward.
Occasional lifting and carrying (≤25 lbs. and >25 lbs.).
Occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, squatting, twisting, and pulling/pushing.
Domestic travel continuous; international travel never.
