At Regions, the Relationship Banker I is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience both on the cash line and on the phone, contributing to the financial wellness of customers, and identifying ways to meet customer needs. The role offers opportunities for growth, development, and upward mobility for candidates with prior teller, limited banking, or some retail sales experience. Regions aims to make life better for customers and communities. The successful candidate should be ambitious and adaptable with a desire to educate customers on banking options, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to provide personalized customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide a consistent, optimal customer experience on the cash line and handle customers\' transactional needs (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions). Answer customer inquiries about products and services; fulfill basic servicing requests (new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN resets, reordering checks, and basic problem resolution). Develop relationships with customers and remain well-informed about their relationship with the bank. Educate customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM) to make banking easier. Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to aid in customer problem resolution. May conduct outbound calls using generated customer/prospect leads to educate customers on technology and assist with financial needs. Refer customers to an internal team of experts when more complex goals and needs are identified. Follow bank processes, procedures, and applicable laws/regulations; contribute to sound banking practices by identifying and reporting operational risks. Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing guidance about Regions solutions. This position requires tracking time for hours worked over 40 per week and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Ability to work Saturdays as needed Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained monitor attention Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds Preferences

One (1) year of banking, cash-handling, and/or customer service experience Skills and Competencies

Adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to oversee large sums of cash Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills Position Type

Pay ranges are job-specific and provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors affecting pay include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, location, and performance. The target information below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for the position location and level. Job Range Target: Minimum:
