Vaco Phoenix is hiring a Claims Specialist for a well-established mortgage company here in the Valley. This is a 100% remote opportunity offering up to $30/hour, ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-heavy, compliance-driven environment. Responsibilities
Review and reconcile loan histories across multiple accounts to identify claimable advances Apply and maintain working knowledge of investor, insurer, and agency guidelines (FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, VA, RHS, etc.) Compile advances, invoices, and supporting documentation into complete, compliant claim packages Submit claims through the appropriate internal and government systems to request reimbursement Reconcile claim proceeds and expenses written off to ensure all eligible amounts are recovered Accurately post claim funds to the correct accounts and advances Partner with internal teams to identify process gaps and provide feedback to improve systems and workflows Qualifications
2+ years Mortgage experience filing claims with Freddie/Fannie Mae Filing claims when homes are going through Foreclosure Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual\'s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company\'s 401(k) retirement plan.
