Loan Sales Representative – Baton Rouge, LA Salary:

$14.00 to $15.75 per hour

This position leverages interpersonal skills and business knowledge to meet the needs of our customers. It works closely with the Branch Manager and staff to build relationships and identify the needs of customers. The LSR is knowledgeable about features of products and services to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The LSR interviews customers with professionalism, patience, curiosity, and results orientation.

Principal Accountabilities And Key Activities

Recommend products and services to support individual and branch sales goals and customer expectations

Market branch products and services to customers and potential customers

Conduct assigned collection calls of customer accounts to arrange payment

Seek opportunities to originate new loans with new and existing customers

Develop knowledge of credit underwriting methods and sales tools

Ensure customer information is correct and document interactions

Consistently meet or exceed branch and individual goals

Conduct dialogues with customers to identify and respond to needs in a timely and efficient manner

Build internal and external relationships

Ensure customer confidentiality and privileged information is maintained

Adhere to all 1FFC policies and procedures

Comply with all State and Federal regulations

Participate in personal development

Exhibit knowledge of all 1FFC products

Seek additional opportunities and responsibilities

Education, Qualifications and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Serving customers onsite at the branch office is an essential function (working from home not permitted)

Ability to meet current licensing requirements of various states and federal regulators

Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgment

Advanced interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and differing social and business settings

Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information

Action and result focused

Strong communication skills (verbal / written)

Proficient with MS Office Suite products

Desirable

A valid driver's license and ability to operate an automobile
