Requirements & Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality.

Proven track record of achieving $1M+ in annual sales.

Strong sales, negotiation, and contract management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service orientation.

Highly organized with strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously.

Familiarity with CRM, catering, or event sales software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Professional demeanor and comfort representing the company at external events and networking functions.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required (approx. 50 hours/week).

Preferred Background & Skills

Proactive self‑starter who excels at outbound prospecting and relationship‑building.

Comfortable with networking, community engagement, bridal shows, and expos.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

Respond promptly to inquiries and manage all sales leads through CRM.

Conduct outbound calls and email campaigns to generate new business.

Conduct site visits, menu tastings, and develop customized proposals that meet client needs and budgets.

Negotiate contracts, manage payments, and ensure flawless documentation for every event.

Maintain regular client communication from initial booking through post‑event follow‑up to ensure satisfaction and drive referrals.

Create and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and detailed event run‑sheets.

Serve as the primary liaison between clients and event operations, ensuring seamless coordination and on‑site support as needed.

Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and pipeline activity within CRM software.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing and provide administrative support to the team.
