Customer Service Representative

to join our team.

Founded in 1969, NPW has grown significantly through the successful completion of 30 acquisitions and organic endeavors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via the web, email, and telephone.

Provide ongoing phone support to customers throughout the shift.

Demonstrate strong customer service skills and interact well with customers.

Maintain positive customer relations by greeting and acknowledging each customer.

Display automotive parts and repair knowledge to adequately assist customers.

Establish and grow relationships with existing clients through excellent service and increased orders.

Communicate effectively and work with other departments and locations to meet customer needs.

Report job issues to the supervisor and work effectively as a team player.

Maintain productivity standards as outlined.

Handle and maintain company equipment responsibly.

Keep your work area clean and organized.

Observe all safety guidelines set forth by NPW.

Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Skills and Requirements

Bilingual English/Spanish

Heavy knowledge of internal engine parts

Traditional automotive parts knowledge is welcome.

Previous customer service experience preferred.

Proficient in a Windows software environment.

Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy on the phone.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong ability to resolve issues and handle complaints effectively.

Empathy, active listening, and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes.

Physical Requirements

Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds unassisted.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted.

Regularly required to read, talk, listen, sit, and stand.

Occasionally required to walk, bend at waist and knees, use hands and reach with arms.
