Inside Sales Representative

to accelerate real‑life impact in life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology. You will promote the full portfolio of IDT products—including custom oligonucleotide solutions—across key application areas such as qPCR/dPCR, CRISPR, Functional Genomics, Synthetic Biology, and Next‑Generation Sequencing.

In This Role

Drive revenue growth in the San Francisco Bay Area territory through inbound and outbound sales activities, focusing on customer acquisition and retention.

Collaborate closely with Territory Sales Managers to align on regional sales strategies, account priorities, and pipeline development.

Maintain and expand customer relationships with proactive communication, product education, and tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Build deep knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools, consistently applying forecasting, opportunity management, and pipeline building to inform business decisions.

Demonstrate effective selling skills and product understanding to uncover customer needs and position appropriate solutions, leveraging internal resources to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

1+ year of life science sales experience (remote or in‑person) with familiarity in the Life Science market.

Knowledge of molecular biology techniques (NGS, CRISPR, PCR, SynBio, etc.).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Salesforce or other popular CRM platforms.

Hands‑on molecular biology or laboratory experience.

This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager for the San Francisco Bay Area, is fully remote with flexibility to travel for internal meetings and occasional team events.

Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000. Total compensation target: $100,000 – $115,000 annually.
