About the Role
Inside Sales Representative – proactively promotes IDT’s full portfolio of products, including custom oligonucleotide solutions across key application areas such as qPCR, CRISPR, Functional Genomics, Synthetic Biology, and Next Generation Sequencing. This role is part of IDT’s Sales organization covering the Northeast region and can be performed remotely. You will strategically manage customer relationships, support satisfaction, and drive revenue growth while collaborating with internal stakeholders and fostering partnerships to achieve profit and revenue growth goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage assigned accounts to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth by understanding both short‑term and long‑term customer needs.
Prospect for new leads and prepare information for outgoing sales calls to secure new customers.
Demonstrate effective selling skills and product understanding to uncover customer needs and position appropriate solutions.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers, leveraging internal resources to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Build deep knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools, consistently forecasting business, managing opportunities, building an opportunity pipeline, and making informed business decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science related discipline or related field, OR Business degree with relevant life science industry experience, OR Master’s degree in a life science field.
1+ years of experience in the Life Science market, preferably with a customer‑oriented or sales background (remote or in‑person).
Will be required to travel up to 20% and make quarterly customer visits.
Desired Skills
Experience and proficiency with popular CRMs (Salesforce preferred).
Molecular Biology (NGS, CRISPR, PCR, Synthetic Biology) or similar lab experience.
Remote Work This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from home. Additional remote work details will be provided by the interview team.

Compensation
Salary range: $60,000 – $65,000 (this is the probable range at the time of posting).
Bonus and incentive pay are also available.
