Inside Sales Representative East-Genomics

As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll proactively promote IDT’s portfolio of products—including custom oligonucleotide solutions across qPCR, CRISPR, Functional Genomics, Synthetic Biology, and Next Generation Sequencing—while ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth through strategic account management and partnership development.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage assigned accounts to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth, balancing short‑term needs with long‑term goals and prospecting new leads.
Apply effective selling skills and product knowledge to uncover customer needs and position the appropriate solution; maintain and deepen strategic partnerships with key customers, leveraging internal resources to maximize satisfaction.
Master CRM and funnel‑management tools to forecast business, manage opportunities, build pipelines, and make informed business decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a life‑science related discipline, business degree with life‑science experience, or Master’s degree in a life‑science field.
1+ years of experience in the Life Science market, preferably in a customer‑oriented or sales role (remote or in‑person).
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for quarterly customer visits.
Proficiency with CRMs (Salesforce preferred).
Experience in molecular biology (NGS, CRISPR, PCR, Synthetic Biology) or similar laboratory work is a plus.
Benefits Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000 (subject to change). Eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees. Remote work arrangements are available, with the role eligible for working from home.
