About the Role Career Team is seeking a WIOA Eligibility Specialist for its North Central Texas location. The specialist will conduct eligibility screenings, verify documentation, and build participant cases in full compliance with WIOA guidelines. The role reports directly to WIOA Program Managers and ensures timely, accurate processing of participant files to support enrollment and service delivery.

Provide information about workforce services
Process screenings and applications to determine eligibility for customers in East Texas
Enter source document data into case management and document storage systems; maintain database by adding new and updated customer information
Process customer documents by reviewing data for deficiencies
Resolve discrepancies using standard procedures or return incomplete documents to the supervisor for resolution
Acquire and maintain ongoing programmatic competency to ensure compliant case management
Accurately document customer interactions through well‑written case notes
Ensure that case files meet or exceed programmatic requirements
Maintain operations by following policies and procedures
Work with office equipment, computer software, and hardware
Collaborate as part of a team to achieve shared goals
Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset
Other duties and projects as needed
The Ideal Qualifications for this Position Include
Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of work experience in training, customer service, or related fields, working with a culturally diverse customer base and demonstrating cultural sensitivity
Ability to serve as a role model to customers and motivate them toward achieving goals
Personal computer literacy, including effective use of the Internet, e‑mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectives
Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A valid driver's license
Additional Skills/Knowledge Career TEAM Would Love for This Role
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience and knowledge of WIOA and TANF workforce development contracts/programs
Astounding ability to multitask and be proactive
Employment Details
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non‑Exempt Employee
Job Site: Onsite
Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 per year
Travel: 25% travel within the region
