Work from Home position that requires you to live within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital. Eligible states include FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA.
Schedule
Full‑time: 1 mid/evening shift per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM CST)
One Saturday per month: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST

Job Summary As a Patient Account Collections Specialist, you will make outbound calls, follow up on account inquiries, and resolve patient receivables while providing excellent customer service from a home office. The position requires bandwidth to work uninterrupted for the entire shift (excluding breaks). The role impacts patient care by ensuring timely payment and clear communication.
Duties and Responsibilities
Refer calls/accounts to the appropriate parties based on customer inquiries; spend 90% of the day on the phone.
Identify problem accounts and appropriately escalations.
Update patient account records to reflect actions taken.
Work with patients and guarantors to secure payment on outstanding balances.
Maintain minimum production standards and achieve passing quality review scores.
Produce acceptable unit collection volumes.
Adhere to company attendance guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Collaborate with team members and management professionally.
Qualifications
Previous call‑center experience preferred.
One‑year related experience (preferably in healthcare) preferred.
Experience with collections in the healthcare revenue cycle is a plus.
High‑speed internet required (25 MB download, 15 MB upload); Wi‑Fi is not permitted.
Ability to work uninterrupted for the duration of the shift (excluding breaks/lunch).
Bilingual language skills are not required but can be an advantage.
