To qualify for the transfer opportunity, candidates must currently be a full-time Management Analyst with the City of Los Angeles or have status in the class (regular appointment). Description of Duties
LAWA is seeking a qualified, self-motivated and experienced Management Analyst who will work as a Hearing Officer. Conducting hearings to adjudicate and enforce LAX Rules & Regulations and Safety and Security Enforcement Program (SAFE) guidelines determining proper retraining or suspension of privileges. Gather all information and conduct investigations related to impounded vehicles and conduct Impound Hearings. Work in partnership with Airfield Operations for SAFE Hearings involving security and safety related citations and violations committed by LAWA badge holders. Communicates with airport tenants regarding Badge Confiscations and LAX Rules & Regulations violations committed by employees. Monitor and the entry of Airfield Citations into the Credentialing System. Generate monthly statistical reports for the Security Airfield Enforcement (S.A.F.E.) program.
