Account Manager Retail SMB
Location:
Franklin, TN (Hybrid – in‑store & remote)
What You’ll Be Doing
Introduce small and medium business customers to Verizon’s high‑tech 5G products and services.
Interact with customers in retail stores, digitally, and via outbound prospecting.
Demonstrate end‑to‑end technology solutions to energize customer businesses.
Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and working leads & referrals.
Partner with and mentor Consumer Retail Sales Representatives.
Acquire and retain accounts in the small business segment.
Utilize solutions‑based selling techniques to solve business problems.
Serve the needs of the existing customer base.
Use sales enablement systems to track, forecast, and manage pipeline and book of business.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant experience (sales, marketing, or customer service).
Valid driver’s license.
Willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree or related certifications.
Outside sales experience including outbound prospecting.
Wireless sales experience exceeding quota.
Experience influencing a team to drive sales results.
Strong people skills for influencing, negotiating, conflict resolution, and building trust.
