Account Manager Retail SMB- Business Sales
What You’ll Be Doing:
Introducing small and medium business customers to Verizon’s high‑tech 5G products and services, demonstrating end‑to‑end technology solutions to energize their business.
Generating new business through prospecting, networking and working leads and referrals.
Driving small business results through the retail channel by partnering with and mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives.
Growing your customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts in the small business segment.
Using solutions‑based selling techniques to solve business problems for your customers.
Outbound sales prospecting and customer visits.
Servicing the needs of the existing customer base.
Using sales enablement systems and tools to track, forecast, manage your pipeline and book of business.
Compensation:
Base pay plus target individual‑based commission with unlimited earning potential. Compensation varies by geography, performance and experience.

What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or customer service.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Ability to work outbound prospects and influence a team to drive sales results.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree or related certifications.
Outside sales experience including outbound prospecting, wireless sales experience exceeding quota.
Experience influencing a team to drive sales results and building trust at all levels.
