Job Title:
Market Strategy and Research Analyst
Required qualifications:
Master's in Marketing Analytics or MBA with Concentration in Marketing Analytics, or similar degree and 36 months experience in data analytics.
Special Requirements:
Must have demonstrated proficient knowledge of the following marketing analytical methods and technologies:
A/B and multivariate testing
SEO link building
CRMs
Data mining software
Classification and prediction algorithms
Duties:
The Market Strategy and Research Analyst will conduct primary and secondary research activities to collect data related to university degree programs, trends in online education, and other related aspects of higher education. The incumbent researches similar universities and programs to inform the discussion on which features and benefits should be included in the department's programs during the development phase:
Designs and implements research by analyzing and reports on cross‑channel marketing campaign performance, tracks and reports on landing page conversion results, Tseng College website usability, design and content metrics, A/B and multivariate testing, SEO link building, CRMs, data mining software, as well as classification and prediction algorithms
Provides statistics on workforce and occupational outcomes in order to evaluate occupational demands for current and future programs
Gathers data on prospective student demographics, psychographics, preferences and needs
Establishes a systematic process to contact current students and alumni in order to determine success during student lifecycle, from pre‑start through graduation
Produces quantitative and qualitative reports
Primary point of contact for external research partners and oversees all external and internal marketing research efforts
Works with the Director and Associate Director of Marketing and Communications to uncover and develop opportunities for development and promotion of the college's program and initiatives
Utilizes information from industry/higher education studies and vendor research libraries to pull information for research to assist internal stakeholders
Conducts data analysis to inform strategic and tactical decision‑making in the marketing and recruitment space
Serves as the subject matter expert in marketing and communications research methodologies and reporting techniques, providing information critical to determining program design, delivery and promotion
Performs site audits on Google, AdWords, Grad schools and other advertising platforms
Assists in reviewing printed and digital marketing materials, including marketing automation communication
Makes tactical recommendations in support of marketing recruitment and strategic planning activities for the college
Provides general administrative support for the Marketing and Communications Department
Salary:
$93,876 per year pursuant to the CBA currently in force.
