Temp-to-Hire Opportunity: Deposit Operations Specialist - Financial Services

Location:

Union, NJ (Onsite)

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type:

Temp-to-Hire

Salary: $20-$26/hr

Deposit Operations Specialist

Responsibilities:

Maintain, process, reconcile, and review transactions related to deposit accounts

Handle daily exception processing of non-post items by researching and posting debits/credits

Verify and release end-of-day batches and complete return processing

Research and resolve daily account discrepancies or changes, including rate changes, with appropriate documentation

Review stop-payment suspects and communicate with branches for supporting information

Manage incoming/outgoing Federal Reserve Bank adjustments

Process check claims related to fraud cases reported by clients via branch

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in banking or financial operations preferred

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

Comfortable working with confidential financial data

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and organizational skills
