Accounting Specialist
We are looking for an accounting specialist to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This position will be onsite in Scottsboro, Alabama. Responsibilities: Process and organize incoming invoices and bills, ensuring accuracy and timely handling. Scan, attach, and file financial documents to maintain organized records. Assist with preparing and submitting monthly sales tax reports. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company standards. Utilize accounting software to perform routine functions and maintain financial records. Requirements: Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Familiarity with accounting software and tools. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Basic knowledge of sales tax preparation and reporting. Previous exposure to interplant transaction handling is a plus. Availability to work onsite five days a week during standard business hours.
