Fully Remote Patient Account Representative
TekSystems is currently hiring for a fully remote patient account representative. Must have 1-3 years of medical patient account representative experience, or medical insurance/authorizations experience, and must sit in EST/CST time zone areas. Description Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm EST - remote position. Can sit in EST/CST only. Responsible for answering incoming calls from providers, health plan and members as they relate to eligibility, benefits, claims, coverage and authorization of services. This position will also problem-solve and explain programs and procedures to callers and will answer/address claim payment questions with providers. Job duties: Answering incoming phone calls via ACD phone system Provide eligibility, benefits, claim, and referral status depending on their queue Assist in resolving issues for providers as they relate to claims, authorization, and eligibility inquiries Additional skills & qualifications nice to have: Experience in a call center within a healthcare environment Bachelor's degree preferred Job type & location: This is a contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
