Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently, showcasing your organization and time‑management skills while establishing relationships with retailers. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion you may work with other products from other companies within the stores you serve.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting hourly pay rate: $14.00 to $16.00 depending on your skills and experience.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours: 6–12 hours.

Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Engage professionally with store employees, management, and customers, and provide feedback and surveys as required.

Holiday support: During seasonal demand periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) you may work additional days and extended hours, and on some holidays may work on the actual holiday or weekends.

Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks such as building Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting sections. Reminders are typically provided two weeks in advance; assignments may involve evenings or weekends.

Team support: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you may assist other team members in your territory when needed.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires consistent energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the sales floor and back stockrooms, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, and sometimes climb stairs or step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Proficiency with a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.

Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.

Consistent, reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
