Neuroscience Sales Specialist – Albuquerque East, NM at Amplity

Position Overview The Neuroscience Sales Specialist‑II works in partnership with Johnson & Johnson’s Intra‑Cellular Therapies Inc. to drive sales of cutting‑edge neuroscience products in the Albuquerque region. The role involves building relationships with healthcare professionals, developing strategic local plans, and delivering results in an ethical and compliant manner.

Job Responsibilities

Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts by calling HCP offices and mental health community centers both in‑person and virtually, following compliance guidelines.

Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.

Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share information with relevant internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers and region, selecting programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.

Work with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best‑practice sharing.

Maintain timely and accurate administrative records of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, sample and expense reporting.

Inform business planning based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.

Complete all required company and job‑related training within specified timelines.

Job Requirements

2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.

Experience in launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Strong desire and passion for improving patient lives; ideal candidate emulates patient‑centricity.

High integrity and compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent judgment, and cross‑functional teamwork skills.

Track record of learning and adapting in evolving environments (e.g., COVID‑19) to overcome challenges.

Ability to adapt to telemedicine/virtual environments.

Analytical skills to assess progress against objectives, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.

Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours; some overnight and domestic travel may be required.

Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
