Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II Join Amplity, the full-service go‑to partner of biopharma companies that delivers flexible and specialized medical and commercial services. At Johnson & Johnson’s Intra‑Cellular Therapies, we are dedicated to developing therapeutics for central nervous system disorders and expanding our CAPLYTA® medical team.

Job Responsibilities

Follow compliance guidelines and drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within assigned territory by contacting HCP offices and mental health community centers both in‑person and virtually.

Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.

Maintain current understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and routinely share such information with relevant internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.

Work with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives, capitalizing on formulary approvals and other opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best‑practice sharing.

Maintain timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting.

Inform and build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.

Complete all company and job‑related training as assigned within the required timelines.

Job Requirements

2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales, with 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.

Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers, with a patient‑centric approach.

High integrity and adherence to the Company’s Compliance policies and procedures.

Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent decision‑making judgment, teaming, and cross‑functional skills.

A proven track record of learning and adapting in evolving environments such as the COVID‑19 pandemic.

Ability to be agile and adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.

Analytical skills to assess progress against objectives, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse audience.

Flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel requirements including overnight travel as needed.

Domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings on a periodic basis.

Capability to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range $98,000 - $155,000
