We are more than just a Parts Store, seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA
Counter Sales , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. No need to be able to tear down engines (though it’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you aim to build a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, want full or part-time work, or are exploring other career paths with us. We welcome all!
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
Welcoming and engaging retail customers to ensure a positive experience
Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs
This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You
Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
Have experience in automotive or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks
Are eager to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience
Want to grow your career within a supportive team environment
What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus
Excellent communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
Good listening skills and empathy for customers
Preferred Qualifications
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership work
Experience in cataloging or inventory management systems
Customer-centric attitude
ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
