MOPIPE is hiring an Inside Sales Support team member to help us process orders, respond to inquiries, and keep our customers informed and satisfied. This role is ideal for someone who excels at execution — entering orders correctly, communicating clearly, and following through. Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned service pro, we’re looking for someone who wants to own the day-to-day customer experience and take pride in doing it well. Our customer base is highly loyal and relationship-driven—many of our accounts have been with us for 10+ years. This role is about continuing that tradition of trust while improving how we serve, quote, and grow alongside those customers. About the Company: MOPIPE is a 92-year-old domestic manufacturer and distributor of pipe nipples and fittings. We sell through PVF distributors and directly to manufacturers in industries such as utilities, HVAC/plumbing, oil & gas, and agriculture. We differentiate ourselves through our ability to quickly produce and deliver specialty products that are difficult to source elsewhere. We operate a manufacturing and distribution facility near downtown St. Louis, MO. As of June 2025, MOPIPE has ~35 employees. About Our Culture: We’re an old business with new energy. In 2024, MOPIPE was acquired by Stacker Holdings, a Chicago-based group focused on industrial businesses. We work hard AND maintain a friendly, small business atmosphere where we care for our employees. Position Responsibilities: § Order Entry & Accuracy:
Enter customer orders into our ERP and EDI software systems with a high level of precision; confirm part numbers, shipping info, pricing, and delivery requirements. § Customer Communication:
Respond to phone calls and emails regarding orders, inventory, and shipping timelines; keep customers updated on status and resolve basic issues. § Quoting Support:
Prepare and send quotes using established pricing structures; escalate complex quote requests to Account Managers or Sales leadership. § Sales Support:
Help maintain customer records, pricing data, and order history; follow up on open orders and incomplete requests. § Process Reliability:
Ensure clean handoffs to operations, shipping, and production; flag any inconsistencies or errors before they reach the floor. Critical Outcomes: §99% order accuracy across all entered orders §90% of email inquiries responded to within one business day §Smooth handoffs to operations with clear, complete information §Growing customer satisfaction and repeat business from accounts you touch §Demonstrated reliability and ownership over tasks §Willingness to learn new systems, products, and customer preferences over time § Values Fit:
