Dealer Account Manager

Westlake Financial is the largest privately held auto finance company in the United States with sustained year‑over‑year growth. We are expanding our teams and diversifying our business model to reinforce our position as a leader in the automotive lending industry.
We are seeking a Dealer Account Manager to educate, train, and support our dealer partners. The role is full‑time, includes a competitive base salary plus a highly incentivized performance‑based commission structure, and offers opportunities for career advancement.
What you will do
Prepare presentations and proposals that communicate company products and services to independent and franchise dealerships.
Identify sales prospects and contact assigned dealer accounts.
Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with current and potential dealer partners.
Communicate consistently with dealer partners via phone and in‑person visits to train on current programs and funding requirements.
Provide solutions and restructure vehicle loans to secure approval in a profitable manner for Westlake and the dealership partners.
Assist with the preparation of sales contracts and educate dealers on required verification documents.
Maintain knowledge of current financial products and marketing materials.
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in automotive, finance, and sales (required).
1–2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Presentation skills from creation to delivery.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
Goal‑oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
Ability to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams.
Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL is beneficial.
Previous outside sales experience is preferred.
Significant local travel required; must possess a valid state driver’s license.
Compensation & Benefits
Self‑determined, performance‑based commission package. First year guaranteed minimum income beginning at $5,000 monthly plus performance‑based commissions, thereafter a monthly base of $1,000 plus commissions.
Average earnings after 1 year: $160,000.
Top 25% reps average: $245,000.
Top 50% reps average: $305,000.
Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement: $450.
No limit on commissions.
