Sales Agent (Full-Time) - Florida Panhandle
Overview
As a Sales Agent for DSLD Homes, your goal is to obtain new home sales by demonstrating plans, features and community information to potential homebuyers. You will serve as the trusted guide during the home buying process for your customers. To be successful in this role, you will need to become very knowledgeable of the DSLD processes and generate excitement by effectively identifying needs of the potential home buyers and matching related solutions. This also includes marketing the community for events and building realtor relationships to ensure sales goals are achieved.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Drive the sales process and deliver outstanding customer service.
Develop, practice and deliver an outstanding sales presentation consistent with company training.
Practical prospecting, following up, setting appointments, using CRM tools, showing homes and sites, preparing contract paperwork, conducting color appointments, scheduling walk-throughs, communicating with lenders, and preparing for closing.
Maintain consistent and thorough communication with multiple buyers during the construction process and after closing.
Generate leads and referrals through marketing efforts both initiated by DSLD and the builder rep.
Network and facilitate presentations to realtors and hold open houses.
Attend sales meetings and participate in sales training.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Maintain a professional image of self and company.
Ensure model home is organized, well stocked, clean and smells great; all spec and model homes must remain show‑ready.
Have an understanding of the construction process, building products, and construction timelines and communicate this information to the buyer.
Know financing and title processes.
Work as a team and help others responsibly.
Proficient computer skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Work closely with the sales associate and communicate tasks required for them to complete on your days off.
Fiscal Responsibility
Maintain office supply budget and stay within limits.
Set up community social events within budget.
Education & Skills Requirements
High School diploma (College degree preferred).
Real Estate license for Florida.
Experience Requirements
2‑5 years of sales experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
Excellent verbal and listening skills.
Customer/Public Contact
Daily interaction in person, phone, text, or email.
Working Conditions
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid motor vehicle liability insurance required.
Require travel to model homes and community shows; also travel to office for meetings.
Work is generally performed in typical office and model home environments; may require walking and light lifting.
Fast‑paced environment with interruptions; priority changes with short notice.
Work Schedule
Monday–Saturday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Weekend work required and cells on days off for customer assistance may be expected.
Compensation
Training period includes guaranteed pay; post‑training is 100% commission based on sales.
Commission range based on potential sales for the community at a fixed percentage; fluctuates with total sales.
