Job Description As a Builder Sales Representative at DSLD Homes, you will be the key point of contact for prospective homebuyers, guiding them through every step of the home buying journey. Your primary responsibility is to generate new home sales by showcasing our home designs, features, and community offerings in a compelling and informative manner. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate the buying process with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the sales process and deliver outstanding customer service.
Develop, practice, and deliver an outstanding sales presentation consistent with company training.
Prospect, follow up, set appointments, use CRM tools, show homes and sites, prepare contract paperwork, conduct color appointments, schedule walk‑throughs, communicate with lenders, and prep for closing.
Maintain consistent and thorough communication with multiple buyers during construction and after closing.
Generate leads and referrals through marketing efforts initiated by DSLD and the builder rep.
Network and facilitate presentations to realtors and hold open houses.
Attend sales meetings and participate in sales training.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Maintain a professional image of self and company.
Ensure model homes and sites are organized, well stocked, clean, and presentable.
Understand the construction process, products, and timelines, and communicate this information to buyers.
Have knowledge of financing and title processes.
Work as a team and help others by completing responsibilities.
Use computer skills proficiently.
Requirements
High school diploma; college degree preferred.
2–5 years of experience in sales.
Strong customer service skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
Working Conditions
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and motor vehicle liability insurance required.
Travel to model homes, client sites, and company office as needed.
Standard office environment with light lifting and cleaning duties.
Fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Schedule
Office hours: Monday–Saturday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; Sunday 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Weekend work required; on‑call cell phone on days off to help customers.
Compensation
Training period with a pay guarantee; thereafter 100% commission based on sales.
