If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy customizing metal materials with precision, this is the role for you. What You'll Do: Operate Press Machinery: Run electrically powered industrial machines to create, shape, and customize metal materials. Quality Assurance: Perform inspections on finished pieces to ensure quality and conformity, correcting inconsistencies as needed. Reporting & Communication: Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to your supervisor. Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by following prescribed safety regulations. Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on machines to keep our production running smoothly. What We're Looking For: Motor Skills: Exemplary motor skills are essentialquickly and efficiently adjust multiple levers and settings on brake press machines. Technical Knowledge: Strong analytical and mathematical skills to interpret drawings, templates, and blueprints accurately. Attention to Detail: Ability to read gauges, tape measures, and other measurement tools. Experience: Prior manufacturing experience in a press environment is a plus. Work Environment: Be prepared to work in a dynamic setting with exposure to odors, noise, dust, heat, cold, and moving mechanical parts. The noise level can get loudbut with the vibrant energy of a real production floor! Physical Demands: Enjoy an active role that requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Regularly lift and move items over 25 pounds. Use specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
