Ampersand Therapy is seeking a certified

Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS)

to provide in-person services for a high school students who is visually impaired. This role offers flexibility and a chance to make a direct, meaningful impact on a student’s independence and confidence in navigating their environment.

Who We’re Looking For We’re eager to connect with professionals who bring:

A deep understanding of the needs of students with visual impairments

Compassion, flexibility, and strong communication skills

A collaborative approach to working with school staff and families

Dedication to helping students develop orientation and mobility skills to enhance daily living and access to learning environments

Requirements Certification in Orientation and Mobility (COMS)

Active CDE license or eligibility to obtain one

Experience providing O&M services in school settings preferred

Position Details In-person services on a high school campus in

Brighton, CO

Approximately

3–5 hours per week , with some additional time initially to make up missed service hours from the start of the school year

Flexible scheduling to meet both the student’s and provider’s availability
