Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as needed Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work regarding coverage issues Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants What is Required (Qualifications)
2+ years of casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of commercial claims experience High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses (state-specific) within the first 90 days of employment Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in your time zone Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
3+ years of casualty claims handling experience Prior experience with commercial policies BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
