What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Manage and resolve all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity

Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns

Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue

Conduct investigative work and make coverage determinations based on gathered evidence

Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum of 2 years of Casualty claims experience or 2 years of claims experience with at least 1 year of Commercial claims experience

High School Diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry

Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment

Strong interpersonal skills and computer navigation abilities

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

3+ years of experience handling Casualty claims

Prior experience with Commercial policies

BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Capability to perform job duties in a remote setting
