Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage and resolve 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
Communicate pertinent case facts and maintain effective relationships with team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
2+ years of casualty claims experience or 1+ year of commercial claims experience
High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Required to acquire and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
Strong computer navigation abilities and outstanding interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work flexible hours
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
3+ years of casualty claims handling experience
Prior experience with commercial policies
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related field
