What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Conduct investigative work and make coverage determinations related to liability injury claims
Assist in first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue as necessary
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
Communicate case facts and updates to supervisors and team members when appropriate
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum 2+ years of casualty claims experience or 1+ year of commercial claims experience
High School Diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role
Required to acquire and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
Strong computer navigation abilities and outstanding interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while respecting diverse backgrounds
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
3+ years of casualty claims handling experience
Prior experience with commercial policies
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related field
Flexibility to work various shifts during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
Capability to perform job duties effectively in a remote setting
