What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage all claims efficiently and effectively, resolving them with minimal supervision
Handle all aspects of liability injury claims, including coverage and damage concerns
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as needed
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds, claimants, or representatives of injured parties
Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors or management as appropriate
What is Required (Qualifications)
2+ years of casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of commercial claims experience
High School diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Required to acquire and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
3+ years of casualty claims handling experience
Prior experience with commercial policies
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area
Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
Capability to perform the job in a remote setting as required
