FAR Inspections (Reno, NV) is seeking motivated individuals to perform residential occupancy verifications for mortgage lenders. Independent contractors enjoy flexible schedules, predictable full‑time or supplemental income, and no prior experience in mortgage field inspections is required—strong time‑management and deadline‑meeting skills are essential. What is an Occupancy Verification?
Verify property occupancy. Report the general condition of the property using a mobile application. Responsibilities
Most inspections are exterior only and typically take 5‑6 minutes. Complete the inspection and submit the report within 4 days of assignment. Determine occupancy status and note general property conditions. Take 9+ property photos with brief comments. Fill out a short form in the mobile app. Travel within the assigned territory, making multiple stops and spending extended periods driving. Requirements
Computer with internet connection. Reliable vehicle (good fuel economy preferred, as you pay for gas). Smartphone (Android or iPhone). Printer. Pass standard background check using a valid driver’s license. Pay & Hours
This is a 1099, independent‑contractor role. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. In high‑volume counties you may earn $30‑$40 per hour, with a range of 20 to 500 inspections per month, depending on the territory. No mileage reimbursement beyond the inspection fee. Seniority Level
