Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Handle liability injury claims including coverage, liability, and damage concerns
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue
Evaluate potential for subrogation and initiate subrogation requests
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 2 years of Casualty claims experience or 1+ year of Commercial claims experience
High School Diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Required to acquire and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
Strong interpersonal and computer navigation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
3+ years of Casualty claims handling experience
Prior experience with Commercial policies
BA/BS in business, insurance, or related area
Flexibility to work shifts during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
Proven communication skills with diverse backgrounds
