Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage all claims efficiently to reach appropriate resolutions with minimal supervision
Handle all aspects of liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue as neededMake liability determinations and conduct complex investigative work related to coverage issues
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 2 years of casualty claims experience or 1+ year of commercial claims experience
High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Ability to acquire and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong computer navigation abilities
Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
3+ years of casualty claims handling experience
Prior experience with commercial policies
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related field
Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
Excellent communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
