What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Manage low to moderate complexity 1st and 3rd party injury claims efficiently and effectively

Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns

Assist in taking first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue as needed

Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to claims

Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds, claimants, or representatives

What is Required (Qualifications):

2+ years of casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience, including 1+ year of commercial claims experience

High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry

Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment

Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong computer navigation abilities

Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously in a remote setting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

3+ years of casualty claims handling experience

Prior experience with commercial policies

BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area

Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours of 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in your time zone

Excellent communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
